BECKLEY – A federal judge has issued an order denying a Raleigh County family court judge’s claim of judicial immunity in a case where she searched a man’s home following a post-divorce contempt hearing.
In his July 13 order, U.S. District Judge Frank Volk also ordered the jury trial in the case will begin as scheduled July 19. As Volk noted in his order, the state Supreme Court already found Goldston’s conduct to be in violation of the law.
